Fantasy Poker Night Benefits Lili Claire Foundation

Familiar celebrity faces met with members of the public for a fundraising evening of no-limit Texas Hold-Em poker while enjoying cocktails poolside at the W Hotel. Cadillac cars transported guests to and from the venue for a star-studded fantasy poker experience on July 10th.

Guests included Jeremy Sisto, Jason Ritter, Pete Yorn, Brian Baumgartner, Willie Garson, Jason Mewes, Andy Milonakis, Shari Belafonte, Don Most, Bob Goen, Victoria Pratt, Paul Johansson, Kate Linder, Patrick Fabian, Kelli Williams, Samm Levine, Kato Kaelin, Norby Walters, Josh Charles, Mitch Allan, Shaun Toub, Kathleen Madigan, Michael DeLorenzo, and Ken Howard.

Brian Baumgarter of “The Office” was the lucky winner, and a generous donation was made to The Lili Claire Foundation in his name.

On Tuesday, December 11, 2012, Happy Hearts Fund (HHF), Petra Nemcova and special guest Carlos Slim hosted the 2012 Happy Hearts Fund Land of Dreams: Mexico Gala at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City where a partnership between The Carlos Slim Foundation and Happy Hearts Fund was announced.

The partnership will rebuild schools in Mexico beginning in Veracruz. Founded by Petra Nemcova is 2006, Happy Hearts Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rebuilding schools and restoring hope and opportunity in the lives of children after natural disaster. Happy Hearts Fund works during the period after emergency response is complete, implementing sustainable practices to ensure a lasting impact.

Josh Charles To Turn Times Square Into Big Pinwheel Garden To Fight Child Abuse

Prevent Child Abuse America and actor Josh Charles from the Emmy-nominated CBS show, The Good Wife, will turn New York City’s iconic Times Square into a “Big Pinwheel Garden” on Tuesday, April 8, at 9:00 a.m.

ET with hundreds of supporters creating a display of more than 5,000 pinwheels – the national symbol for child abuse prevention. The event calls for people to take action in support of healthy child development as the nation marks April as Child Abuse Prevention Month.

This will be the signature event of the Pinwheels for Prevention campaign, through which Prevent Child Abuse America has distributed more than 3.5 million pinwheels nationwide since the campaign’s launch in April 2008.

Television's Biggest Stars Celebrate 8th Annual Evening Before Event

Many of television’s biggest stars came out to Century Park, CA on Sunday night to celebrate the Eighth Annual “Evening Before” event, which benefitted MPTF (Motion Picture & Television Fund).

Host Committee members including Kerry Washington, Jennifer Westfeldt & Jon Hamm, Lena Dunham, Halle Berry& Olivier Martinez, and Robin Dearden & Bryan Cranston, were joined by some of the brightest names in Hollywood for the weekend’s most esteemed pre-Emmy Awards celebration.

The television industry, from Emmy presenters and nominees, to other TV industry members, helped raise funds to support their industry colleagues and friends who benefit from MPTF’s charitable programs and services such as financial assistance, crisis counseling, care giving support and of course the legendary retirement facility in Woodland Hills that is “home” to television and film veterans alike.
